Today women in Uttar Pradesh is not a part of the main-stream as far as I consider due some reasons which are as.........
1). Their school dropouts in the rural parts.
2). Parents considering them to be mothers from childhood.
3). Lesser education, least educated, unliberated brains.
4). Lower number of doctorates etc. etc.
The list is very long and worthless to give it space here the main issue is the current status of women in UP, Govt. is framing a lot of policies and plans to uplift the status of women in UP as for example Balika Vidya Dhan but the society is not able to adept it rightly the policy today exist as an extra source of income its pathetic, the mothers are already exploited but they are till now not fighting for their girl child to get education.
Today the status of women is not in comparision with their counterparts of Delhi or Washington even their leader is a woman Miss Mayawati.
